1. Here are our Agreements within the container. Jeremy added a valuable piece, after the call, about seeing these as core agreements of how to Embody Leader. How can you incorporate and demonstrate these agreements within your personal, social, and business relationships?

Agreements:

  • Confidentiality 
  • Giving & Receiving Feedback
  • Respect (Differences and well as each Man’s process)
  • Authenticity
  • Participation (bring your resistance)
  • Ask for support (Hotseats or reaching out to one another)

 

2. This Months Focus: 

 A) Leadership Qualities that you Value. 
What can you notice about leadership that you admire, not only from people in obvious positions of power but also from everyday people, the way the mailman delivers with integrity, the way the Uber driver maintains professionalism and courtesy, etc.To be a leader means knowing how industry works from top to bottom. What can you learn from the ground floor or various industries you engage with? The way the barista pours every cup (consistency matters), the way the maid moves from large room to small room (tackle big projects first), etc, what can we learn from the details? 

Please share a Marco Polo Check IN OR Group email that answers the following two questions:

1. What Leadership Qualities do you already own and live by?  

2. What Leadership Skills do you need to focus on cultivating or improving. 

B) What would be the most successful measure of transformation or change 1 year from now?
What is an action step or steps that you can take to initiate this over the next month?  

3. Hot Seat: Asking for a hot seat is a powerful way to request support or feedback about an issue or challenge you are facing. How it works: Either send out an email to the group or a Marco Polo Video requesting a Hot Seat and When you want to do it, using your own personal Zoom link (Set up below). Then any of us can get back to you if we are willing and available to hop on the Zoom call to connect and support.  (Can be in 30min or another day)
