FEAR & FEEDBACK
March 2020
Recorded call from this month:
Notes from Naim (thank you amigo!):
Three action steps I request you focus on this month:
1. The first is to be proactive in befriending and working with FEAR.
Explore this website and videos over the next 2 weeks to gain more understanding of Fear. Katie is a brilliant teacher and there is a great deal of valuable info throughout the videos on this site.

2. Feedback Challenge:
Ask 3-5 people to share any feedback they may have to support your growth and learning. Specifically to share with you about any shadow behaviors or ways of relating that may be limiting you. (Ex. I notice that you often complain about money. Or that you tend to be irritable when you get home from work….)
This is an opportunity for you to simply welcome feedback and to take it in and check it out within yourself. I encourage you not to talk about or justify why you may behave that way, simply say thank you and check out what may be true about this persons feedback. See this as an opportunity to expand your awareness and willingness to be seen. And as a powerful way to love and accept a behavior that may have a grip on you.
We have much greater power to change and grow when we can first Love and Accept what is.
3. Teaching through Story:
“A good story has power. The power to inspire. The power to energize, and the power to move people to action. Good stories have the power to build understanding. To entertain. To teach.
To humanize the big picture.”
-Andy Goodman
I want each of you to tell a 2-5min story about a significant and personal life changing moment. I would like for each of you to put some thought and energy into refining a story that you will share with us as a recorded video or via Marco Polo. The intention here is to simply practice sharing an impactful message through a personal story experience. The challenge is to keep it brief and focussed in a way that keeps your audience engaged with you and touched by your experience.
Skillful leaders tell impactful stories that have a message imbedded into the story that inspires or motivates the listener in some way.
